Eudemons online is a massively multiplayer fantasy online game. The camera view is fixed and although it has 3D graphics it looks like a 2D game. Its main focus is not on the storyline, but on the hack&slash gameplay, PvP combat and outstanding animations.
The game took quite some time to download and update itself. It does have an auto-patch feature and it can also be updated manually. When entering the game you will need to choose a server to play on. Most of them were highly populated which means that Eudemons online has a very high player base. After that you have to create a character, or should I say select one. You can choose between 3 classes, each with its own gender and after that you can select a custom avatar. The classes are: Warrior, Magician and Paladin. Not only do they look different, but they have different skills also. After this you will receive 2 Eudemons. These are like sidekicks and will help you combat enemies. They will gain experience on their own and evolve over time as they gain levels and become stronger.
After you've completed the character creation process you will enter the game world. A tutorial is available, however it doesn't explain much besides attacks, your character movement, inventory usage and the pathfinding feature. You will have to learn a lot by yourself and the game is quite complex. Pathfinding is something commonly seen in MMO games. A destination can be selected and it will go on auto-pilot towards it. This is very useful because the game is large and finding stuff on your own is simply too hard.
The gameplay mechanics is simple and similar to most hack&slash games. The character is controlled mainly with the mouse and can have skills assigned to some keyboard numbers. Eudemons online has somethings called XP skills which need time to recharge but do incredible amounts of damage. The name is pretty self-explanatory since it is perfect for farming (you can easily defeat enemies which are several levels higher than you). This is nice because leveling is done very fast. However it doesn't have a button which automatically picks up the loot from enemies. This means you have to manually click for everything. It doesn't affect you at first because you won't manage to kill many enemies at once. However, later on it will take more time picking up the loot than killing the monsters to get it.
The graphics aren't anything new, however the artwork is outstanding. The sound effects are also nice and relaxing. Overall it is a good game, however it is a bit difficult to get used to and it might sometimes leave you wanting more.
